How do I add a new todo?

Simply tap the text input field at the top of the screen, type your todo, and tap the "Add" button. Your todo will appear in the list below.

How do I mark a todo as complete?

Tap the checkbox next to any todo to mark it as complete. You'll see a cheerful confetti celebration! Tap it again to uncheck it.

How do I delete a todo?

Swipe left on any todo to reveal the delete button, then tap it to remove the todo from your list.

Where are my todos stored?

All your todos are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. They never leave your device and are protected by your device's security (passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID).

Do I need an internet connection?

No! TodoMonkey works completely offline. You can add, complete, and delete todos anytime, anywhere, without an internet connection.

Can I sync my todos across devices?

TodoMonkey does not offer cloud sync. Your todos stay on your device for maximum privacy. If you back up your device using iCloud or iTunes, your todos will be included in that backup.

Is there a limit to how many todos I can create?

No! You can create as many todos as you need. There are no artificial limits.

How do I make the text larger?

TodoMonkey already uses extra-large text (40% larger than standard apps) by default. You can also adjust your device's text size in iOS Settings → Display & Brightness → Text Size, and TodoMonkey will respect that setting.

Is TodoMonkey easy to learn?

Yes! TodoMonkey is designed to be intuitive and easy to use from the moment you open it. There's no setup required—just start adding your todos.

What happens if I delete the app?

If you delete TodoMonkey from your device, all your todos will be deleted as well (unless you have a device backup). Make sure to back up your device if you want to preserve your todos before deleting the app.

Is there a subscription fee?

No! TodoMonkey is a one-time purchase. Pay once, use forever. No subscriptions, no recurring fees, no hidden costs.

Does TodoMonkey collect my data?

Absolutely not. We don't collect, track, or share any of your data. Your todos are yours alone. Read our Privacy Policy for complete details.

Troubleshooting

The app isn't responding or is frozen

Try these steps:

  1. Close the app completely by swiping up from the bottom of your screen (or double-clicking the home button) and swiping TodoMonkey away
  2. Reopen TodoMonkey
  3. If the problem persists, restart your device
  4. If issues continue, try deleting and reinstalling the app (note: this will delete your todos unless you have a device backup)

My todos disappeared

If your todos have disappeared:

  1. Make sure you're using the same device where you created them
  2. Check if you recently deleted and reinstalled the app (this would erase local data)
  3. If you restored your device from a backup, your todos should be restored as well
  4. Contact support if the issue persists

The confetti animation isn't showing

The confetti celebration appears when you check off a todo. If you're not seeing it, make sure you're tapping the checkbox (not the todo text itself). The animation is brief and celebratory—you might need to watch closely!

I can't tap buttons accurately

TodoMonkey uses extra-large touch targets (60px) designed for easy tapping. If you're still having trouble:

  • Make sure your screen is clean
  • Try tapping in the center of buttons
  • Consider using a stylus for more precise tapping
  • Adjust your device's text size in Settings → Display & Brightness if needed
